Wine Country Motor Lodge is situated In Havelock North, just 5 minutes from Hastings city and 15 minutes from New Zealand's Art Deco capital of Napier . Regular domestic flights connect Napier with Auckland or Wellington. Shuttle buses and taxis get you to and from the airport for a moderate charge.

We are an easy two and a half hour drive from Rotorua and one and a half hours from Taupo.

Within Hawke's Bay there is an abundance of activities including Art Deco tours, the Gannet Colony at Cape Kidnappers and of course many fine wineries. The Bay offers excellent fly-fishing, hunting and trekking. The Hawkes Bay Cycle Trail features three different rides to choose from totalling over 100km.
